3-30-21 million in wisconsin fully vaccinated

Gov. Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services  announced Monday  that one million people in Wisconsin are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says that’s great news.  “I just personally for Fond du Lac County would like to see more vaccine coming to use,”  Mueller told WFDL news.   “We’re happy to see folks in Wisconsin doing their part and getting vaccinated when it is their turn,” said Gov. Evers. “Keep up the good work, and we’ll be back to our Wisconsin way of life before you know it.”   The governor says Wisconsin  is first in the nation in percentage of doses administered.  Additionally, more than 1 in 2 Wisconsinites age 65 and older have been fully vaccinated and nearly 3 in 4 have received their first dose.  This puts Wisconsin fourth nationally for number of doses administered per 100,000 people age 64 and older.
