MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has appointed the CEO of Prevea Health to the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, giving him a majority of the appointees on the 18-member board. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin state Capitol, closed to the public since late March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, will reopen on Monday. Gov. Tony Evers’ administration announced the reopening on Friday. The Capitol will be opened for limited hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and only weekdays. A Fond du Lac man escaped serious injury after crashing his car into an Alliant Energy substation building on Martin Avenue.  The crash happened Friday morning on Martin Avenue, just north of the Highway 151 Bypass.  Fire chief Pete O’Leary tells WFDL news it appears a car was southbound on Martin Avenue when it veered across the road, crashing through the substation gate before coming to rest against a transformer.  The […]
