Fond du Lac police are investigating a pair of vandalism incidents at a tavern that was the scene of a shooting incident last weekend and a suspect is in custody. Assistant police chief Steve Klein tells WFDL news police officers were called to Kings and Queens tavern on South Military Road twice this week after receiving a report that someone was throwing rocks at windows and the front door window of the establishment. A 36 year old Fond du Lac man was taken into custody in connection with the incident. Klein says detectives are investigating if the vandalism is related to a shooting incident that took place early Sunday morning that seriously injured a Fond du Lac man. Police say eight or nine gunshots were fired inside the tavern following a fight. The victim received multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was transported to the hospital in serious condition. He has been released from the hospital. Police have developed a person of interest in connection with the shooting but no arrests have been made.
