The Dodge County Sheriff has a warning for residents. Methamphetamine is here and becoming more and more widespread. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says deputies have reported a sharp increase in the impacts of meth use in recent months. Schmidt says deputies have responded to meth overdoses and individuals who are mentally ill and suicidal while using meth. He says the problem is the drug’s spread cannot be stopped by law enforcement alone.
