The Fond du Lac Area United Way is targeting underserved communities with a COVID-19 Vaccine Outreach program. United Way executive director Amber Kilawee says the United Way has received a $50,000 grant for a five-month COVID-19 community health outreach program. Kilawee says the premise behind the program is to reduce vaccine hesistancy and address barriers that hinder access for marginalized and underserved persons. Former United Way director Tina Potter has been named the project coordinator.
