A Milwaukee man is in custody following the third high speed chase in less than a week in Fond du Lac County. It started shortly after 8:30pm Tuesday after a report of a man stealing money from a cash register at the Fond du Lac Walmart store. The chase continued south on Rolling Meadows Drive at a high rate of speed and then southbound on Interstate 41. The six mile long chase ended when the vehicle ran over stop sticks and became disabled near 41 and County Highway Y. The driver and lone occupant, a 60-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody without incident. He is facing charges of Felony Eluding. Fond du Lac Police are investigating the robbery at Walmart.
