The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she would be surprised if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention didn’t allow the Johnson and Johnson vaccine to resume. Vaccine advisors to the CDC meet Friday to make recommendations for use of the J and J shot after it was paused to investigate a potential link to serious blood clots. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says she expects the vaccine will be allowed to resume, possibly with a warning about possible adverse side affects. “Millions of doses have been given and there were six cases,” Mueller told WFDL news. Mueller says she does not believe there is a need to continue the pause or stop using the vaccine altogether.
