The interim Fond du Lac School superintendent says a school board recount voting process is secure. A hand recount of more than 10,000 ballots showed no change in the outcome where incumbent Sue Jones defeated challenger Joe Guyette by 17 votes for a third seat on the board. Interim superintendent Sharon Simon was a part of the recount on the board of canvassers. “So what it did was reinforce the security of our elections,” Simon told WFDL news. “I was talking with (county clerk) Lisa Freiberg. She absolutely believes in the Dominion (voting) machines and the hand count proved the same outcome.”
