Interim Fond du Lac school superintendent Sharon Simon is retiring. Simon will be stepping down at the end of June after 32 years in education. Simon was appointed interim superintendent last year when Dr. Jim Sebert accepted the same post in the Waukesha School District. The School Board recently hired South Milwaukee High School principal Dr. Jeff Fleig to serve as the district’s next superintendent. Simon says she will recommend Stacey Bucholz as the District’s next Human Resources director at next week’s school board meeting.
