The Fond du Lac School Board has officially approved the hiring of Matt Wolfert as the new principal at Rosenow Elementary School at their meeting Monday night. Wolfert was selected out of a field of 29 candidates. He comes to Fond du Lac from the Appleton School District where he is the Dean of Students and PBIS Internal Site Coordinator at Franklin Elementary School. His starting salary is $93,000. He succeeds Principal Mike Mockert, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
