A former Oshkosh West High School business teacher has been named the next superintendent of the Oshkosh School District. Shorewood School superintendent Bryan Davis has been hired to the post. The school board will officially approve the hiring at their meeting Tuesday. Davis has a doctorate in urban education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s in educational administration from UW-Milwaukee. He previously served as a high school principal in Green Bay and a business education teacher at Oshkosh West High School. Davis will succeed Superintendent Vickie Cartwright, who announced in March that she will leave the district June 30 after three years in the position. Davis was selected from three finalists including North Fond du lac Superintendent Aaron Sadoff.
