Salute the Troops, held a series of runs in Fond du Lac this weekend to raise money for veterans and their families. The non-profit organization hosted their 10th annual half marathon, as well as the Dobogai Memorial 5K, the Fox Valley Savings Bank Kids Race, and Brandon Michael Memorial Ruck March, on Saturday at Oven Island Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac. Each year, Salute the Troops offers these races as a benefit to the community and a fundraiser for the organization. Proceeds benefit veterans and their families in Fond du Lac, Dodge, and Sheboygan counties.
