5-31-21 infant death investigation

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an infant.  The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call Monday morning from a residence on Gulig Road in the town of Calumet  that a five month old boy was not breathing and not responsive.   A dispatcher began CPR protocol over the phone with the caller until paramedics arrived on the scene.   Despite resuscitation efforts the infant was pronounced dead.  The death is under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office. No other information is being released at this time.
