Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
June 14 to June 18: Contractor is scheduled to complete restoration.
Traffic Impacts: Carpenter Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Doty Street from Follett Street to Scott Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
June 14 to June 18: Alliant Energy’s contractor (InterCon) continues to relocate gas main and laterals. The utility contractor continues on sanitary main installation moving south between Arndt Street and Cotton Street.
Traffic Impacts: Doty Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Doty Street is accessible during off hours.

Star Street from 6th Street to 8th Street

June 14 to June 18: Asphalt contractor will begin fine grading and asphalt paving.

Garfield Street from Bank Street to Scott Street

Fox Ridge Business Park Phase 3
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, roadway, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
June 14 to June 18: The contractor continues earthwork operations.
Traffic Impacts: Fox Ridge drive and Spirit drive remain open to two-way traffic.
WIS 23 Expansion – Urban Section – WI DOT Northeast Region
Location/limits: WIS 23 and various intersecting local roads between US 151 and Seven Hills Road
Schedule: April 19, 2021 to fall of 2022
Description of work: This work is part of the WIS 23 4-lane, on-alignment expansion project in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties.
June 14 to June 18: Along the west end of the project, eastbound traffic will be moved north to be counter directional with the westbound lanes. The east/west road between Whispering Springs and County UU and the Irene Drive connector will be open. The east/west road between Northway and County UU and Northway Drive will have gravel placed on them and will be open. Wisconsin American Drive will begin using the new temporary bypass to access Highway 23. The contractor will begin working on the new eastbound lanes and the new Wisconsin American Drive round about after the traffic switch next week.
