In addition all of the food and family activities, many people are attracted to Lakeside Park for the music entertainment at Walleye Weekend. One of the hottest up and coming new bands in Wisconsin, The Astronomers, performed Saturday. UW Oshkosh students Michael Stensland and Ben Baker formed the band in 2019. The group’s popularity continues to grow in Wisconsin with songs that are played on the radio, and a growing national and international audience on Spotify and the Internet.
