A little more than a year since the beginning of the pandemic Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers says he feels good about how the state has responded. On AM 1170s Between the Lines program the governor says he feels good about the state’s public health response and the public’s resilience. “Obviously politics played a role in it unfortunately with people fighting over whether they should wear masks or socially distance, but at the end of the day Wisconsin people are really resilient,” Evers said. Evers says hundreds of millions of dollars in federal COVID relief aid helped communities throughout the state “get back from the abyss and get economically healthy.”
