6-29-21 dodge county man seriously injured by fireworks

A Dodge County man was seriously injured by fireworks.  Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says a 55 year old town of Lowell man received serious injuries to his hands and stomach while handling large fireworks Saturday night.  He was flown by helicopter to the hospital.

The Fond du Lac School Board has approved the hiring of two new assistant middle School principals.   Kelly Sarah has been hired as the assistant principal at Woodworth Middle School.  Sarah is currently a school counselor at Chegwin Elementary School.   Arik Gunderson has been hired as assistant principal at Sabish Middle School.   Gunderson is currently a Marketing & Business and Information Technology teacher at Woodworth Middle School.

6-29-21 governor extends application deadline for green lake county coroner

Gov. Tony Evers is extending the application deadline for appointment as coroner in Green Lake County.  Application materials must now be received no later than 5 p.m. on July 16, 2021.  The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Dr. John Willett, effective May 1, 2021. 6-29-21 fdl woman escapes serious injury after driving lawn tractor into fdl river

A Fond du Lac woman fortunately escaped serious injury when her lawn tractor ended up in the Fond du Lac River.  Shortly after 11am Monday rescue personnel were called to the 800 Block of Rienzi Road for a report of a person who was operating a lawn tractor near the riverbank when it veered off into the river.  The victim was rescued from the water by FDLFR personnel who then treated […]

6-29-21 watertown man sentenced to prison for firing gunshots after argument on instagram
