What is described as one of the largest highway drug and criminal interdiction efforts ever in the state of Wisconsin netted nearly two dozen felony drug-related arrests in Fond du Lac County. On June 22 and 23 multiple Fond du Lac County law enforcement agencies partnered with state agencies focusing on illegal drug possession, trafficking or other criminal activity. Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says interdiction effort resulted in 331 traffic stops and 21 felony and 23 misdemeanor drug-related arrests.
