Fond du Lac firefighters helped rescue a dog that somehow ended up in the fast-moving Fond du Lac River following last week’s heavy rain. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the Department responded to the river last Thursday morning to a report of a dog in the river. O’Leary says the dog had somehow managed to get out of his collar and somehow ended up in the river.
At 7:15 a.m. this morning FDLFR was called to rescue a dog that had fallen into the Fond du Lac River in the area of Forest and Macy. Rescue 471 crew was able to successfully rescue the small dog and reunite the dog with his owner. pic.twitter.com/LPHqD3uOFy
