MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican Rebecca Kleefisch is taking steps toward a run for Wisconsin governor. She filed paperwork last week for a campaign committee and released policy proposals on Tuesday. 9-1-21 fdl lakeside park lighthouse closed for repair

The Fond du Lac  Lakeside Park Lighthouse and Observation Deck are temporarily closed  to the public after regular maintenance revealed water damage to wood.  The Lighthouse will remain closed  until a thorough assessment and necessary repair work is completed.  Public Works director Paul DeVries says safety is the city’s top priority.   Devries says assessments are ongoing and DPW continues work in partnership with experts to  determine the extent of the issue and […]

8-31-21 health officials concerned about number of people hospitalized in fdl county with covid-19
