Nearly a week after severe thunderstorms knocked down trees and power lines the Ripon city administrator says clean-up efforts have gone really well. City administrator Adam Sontagg says crews are working 12 hour shifts collecting debris from terraces. “Compared to where we were last Thursday, Friday, I think we’re in a really good spot,” Sontagg told WFDL news. “Over the weekend it seems like residents had gotten to work and did a nice job of getting things to the curb for c0llection.” Sontagg says residents can also haul debris to the compost site.
