The Fond du Lac County Veterans Service Officer has posted on his Facebook page that his wife was the person who died in a bicycle versus vehicle crash in Sheboygan County over the weekend. In a Facebook post Rick Patton said he and his wife Karen were riding bikes on Highway U near Greenbush Saturday morning when the crash occurred. Karen Patton was 54. Fond du Lac County employees were notified Sunday. According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office the victim was struck by a vehicle driven by a 24 year old St. Cloud man. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing it’s investigation.
