Positive COVID-19 tests are up in Wisconsin, but only a few people have severe cases. State health officials reported 316 new cases Tuesday, and a seven-day average of seven-point-two percent. That’s the highest average since January. But while the number of cases is up, the number of people being hospitalized or dying from the virus is flat. The Department of Health Services says Wisconsin is averaging one coronavirus death a week, which has been the case for months.
