A Ripon man convicted of providing methamphetamine to a man who was found dead in the Fond du Lac River is going to prison. Fond du Lac judge Paul Czisny has sentenced 27 year old David Bresser to eleven years in prison and seven years extended supervision. Investigators say Bresser also provided fentanyl to Thorp. Bresser pled no contest in June to first degree reckless homicide in the death of 34 year old Robert Thorp. Thorp was found in the Fond du Lac River near South Street April 5, 2020.
