Both men arrested in the shooting death of a Fond du Lac man nearly four years ago have now been convicted. At a hearing Friday afternoon 26 year old Jesse Schultz pleaded guilty to First Degree Reckless Homicide in the shooting death of Logan Foster. The plea agreement cancels a September 9 trial on a charge of First Degree Intentional Homicide. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. The reckless homicide charge carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison and 25 years extended supervision. Last month a Fond du Lac jury found Devon Neuman guilty of party to the crime of First Degree Intentional Homicide in Foster’s death. Neuman is scheduled to be sentenced November 11. The shooting happened September 23, 2017 in a parking lot across the street from the Press Box tavern on Forest Avenue. Investigators believe the men attempted to rob Foster, an altercation ensued, and Foster was shot twice and killed.
