The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash last week. The Sheriff’s Office says 51 year old Timothy Tapplin of Eldorado died after his motorcycle crashed coming to rest in Kettle Moraine Lake. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says at 4pm Thursday the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve on Highway F, slid across the roadway, down the embankment and struck a pier. The motorcycle and the driver came to a rest in Kettle Moraine Lake. Tapplin was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office says speed is a contributing factor in the crash.
