8-30-21 second man convicted in shooting death of logan foster

Both  men arrested in the shooting death of a Fond du Lac man nearly four years ago have now been convicted.  At a hearing Friday afternoon 26 year old Jesse Schultz pleaded guilty to First Degree Reckless Homicide in the shooting death of Logan Foster.  The plea agreement cancels a September 9 trial on a charge of First Degree Intentional Homicide.   A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.   The reckless homicide charge carries a […]

8-28-21 senate hopeful lasry got property tax breaks in two states

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alex Lasry benefitted from nearly $24,000 in property tax breaks in both New York and Wisconsin that are supposed to only be applied to a primary residence, not multiple properties.
