The Fond du Lac interim police chief is asking for prayers for a Fond du Lac police officer who is hospitalized with COVID-19. The local unemployment rate continues to fall in the latest reporting period. The Dodge County unemployment rate was 3.3 in July, down from 3.7 percent in June. In Fond du Lac County the unemployment rate fell two tenths of a percent to 3.5 percent. The city of Fond du Lac jobless rate was 4.2 percent last month, down from 4.3 percent in June.
