6-26-21 drug bust-interstate 41 fdl county

Two Milwaukee men are in custody following a drug bust following a traffic stop on Interstate 41 in Fond du lac County.     A sheriff’s deputy pulled a vehicle over Wednesday evening on southbound I-41 near Highway 151.   A search of the vehicle recovered methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana and a loaded handgun.     The estimated street value of these drugs is $306,000.  The Lake Winnebago Metropolitan Enforcement Group Drug Unit is continuing the investigation.   Both suspects […]

6-26-21 motorcycle vs. pickup crash in dodge county

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a pickup truck in Dodge County.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the motorcycle collided with the pickup Wednesday morning on Highway 26 at the intersection with Prospect Road.   A preliminary investigation shows the pickup truck failed to yield the right of way.   The motorcycle operator was flown by helicopter to the hospital.

8-25-21 milwaukee mayor orders mandatory vaccine for city workers

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee's mayor has ordered mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for city employees. Mayor Tom Barrett made the announcement Tuesday afternoon. The requirement applies to general city employees as well as temporary employees and interns. The mandate will go into effect Sept. 1. 8-25-21 elderly fdl man arrested for 4th owi

An elderly Fond du Lac man has been arrested for repeat drunken driving.  Shortly after 9:30pm Monday a state patrol trooper observed a vehicle operating on the wrong side of  the roadway on Rolling Meadows Drive at Military Road near the BP gas station.  The driver, 88 year old Arthur R Aigner,  was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated Fourth Offense and Operating Left of Center.
