Wednesday is the first official day of autumn. National Weather Service meteorologist Marcia Cronce says thunderstorms that moved through Wisconsin Monday night ushered in cooler temperatures for at least the rest of this week. High temps for the rest of the week are forecast for the low 60s. Meanwhile, Cronce says this past summer will be remembered as warmer and more humid than normal.
