A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured in an alcohol-related motorcycle crash. The crash happened shortly before 10pm Saturday on Highway 45 at Garnett Road in the town of Eden. The investigation showed the motorcyclist failed to negotiate a curve, slid into private property and struck a tree, ejecting the operator from the cycle. The Sheriff’s Office says 55-year-old Darren Meyer was not wearing a helmet and was flown by helicopter to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries.
