10-6-21 state senator testin running for lieutenant governor

A Republican state senator from Stevens Point says he is running for Lieutenant Governor because the state is headed in the wrong direction.   State Senator Patrick Testin announced last week that he is running for the post.   Testin says there are far too many Wisconsinites suffering because of a lack of  leadership from the Evers’ administration.  Meanwhile Testin says he has concerns with a Republican proposal  that would amend the state constitution to turn the state schools superintendent, treasurer and secretary of state into appointed positions.  Testin is one of three Republicans who have announced they are running for Lieutenant Governor.   Democratic state senator Lena Taylor announced this week that she is officially a candidate for the office.
