A Fond du Lac High School student arrested following a fight at the school last week has been charged. Seventeen year old James Baemmert made his initial court appearance Friday on charges of battery, battery or threat to a law enforcement officer, resisting, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $2500 signature bond. According to court documents as of this week Baemmert is now living in Milwaukee. According to a criminal complaint Baemmert threatened to kill a school resource officer. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 22. The fight last week resulted in nine students being suspended and facing expulsion. Students at the high school were held in their classrooms until the fight was brought under control. Nobody was seriously injured.
