The Fond du Lac School superintendent says he hopes two new High School security officers will be on the job in the next couple weeks. Superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig interviewed two applicants this week. Dr. Fleig says the unarmed civilian security officers are being hired following a fight at the high school earlier this month. Eleven students were suspended and face possible expulsion. One of the students was criminally charged in court. There were no serious injuries in the altercation.
