10-28-21 significant drop in local unemployment rate

There was a significant drop in the local unemployment rate in the latest reporting period.  The Dodge County unemployment rate fell from 3.1 to 2.5 percent in September.  In Fond du Lac County the September jobless rate stands at 2.7 percent, down from  3.5 percent in August.  The city of Fond du Lac’s unemployment rate fell from 4.1 to 3.2 percent.  Unemployment rates decreased  in all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties and 34 largest cities over the year and over the month.
