The Fond du Lac School superintendent says he hopes two new High School security officers will be on the job in the next couple weeks.   Superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig interviewed two applicants this week.  Dr. Fleig says the unarmed civilian security officers are being hired following a fight at the high school earlier this month.  Eleven students were suspended and face possible expulsion.  One of the students was criminally charged in court.  […]

A Pennsylvania man is going to prison for sexually assaulting a child in Dodge County.  Dodge County Circuit judge Brian Pfitzinger sentenced 25 year old Steven Barlow to 22 years in prison  followed by 12 years of extended supervision on two counts of  First Degree Child Sexual Assault.  Barlow was convicted of sexually assaulting two young children, ages four and five, offering at least one of the children ice cream in exchange for a […]

10-27-21 paramedic on trial, accused of sexually assaulting patient

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A paramedic is on trial in Dane County where he’s accused sexually assaulting a woman while she was being taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The Janesville woman testified Monday that the paramedic touched her inappropriately and exposed himself to her while she was being transferred to Stoughton Hospital in May 2019. 10-26-21 fdl school board adopts budget

The Fond du Lac School Board has adopted the 2021-22 budget Superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig says it's a balanced budget.  The budget includes a slight decrease in the tax rate from $8.36 per thousand to $7.34 cents.
