MADISON, Wis. (AP) — An American Airlines plane traveling from New York to Los Angeles was forced to make an emergency landing in Wisconsin. TRAVERSE CITY, Mich, (AP) — The once-endangered Kirtland's warbler is maintaining healthy numbers. State and federal officials reported Monday on the latest census of the songbird. It nests primarily in Michigan's Lower Peninsula as well as the Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin and Ontario. The population was estimated at 4,490 following the June survey. 10-26-21 holy family catholic community to provide thanksgiving meal in fdl

For the second year the Fond du Lac Holy Family Catholic Community will offer a free takeout Thanksgiving meal to people living in the Fond du Lac  area.  Holy Family communications director Sarah Razner says 400 Thanksgiving meals will be prepared for people to pick up the day before Thanksgiving.    You can register now to receive a meal by calling the Holy Family Parish Office at 921-0580.

Beginning this week all customers in the 920, 262, 414 and 608 area codes need to dial the area code and telephone number to connect local and long distance calls.
