10-25-21 fdl man and woman charged in connection with crash and subsequent search

A Fond du Lac man who left a crash scene last week with his infant daughter and a woman who was in the car with him  have been charged.  Bail was set Friday at $500 cash each for 24 year old Jordan Smack and 21 year old Cambri Sippel on charges that include party to the crime of first degree recklessly endangering safety.   Sippel is also charged with possession of drug paraphenalia.  […]

10-25-21 new nfdl school board members sworn into office

The two newest members of the North Fond du Lac School Board have been sworn into office. Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says Jonathan Goeckerman and Terry Jaeger were selected out of a field of 14 candidates.  They were administered the oath of office Friday and will attend their first board meeting Monday evening.  They replace Shawn Pollack and Paula Stettbacher who resigned last month.  Their terms expire in April.

A Fond du Lac street will be closed this week to replace a lead water service pipe.  Hickory Street between Forest Avenue and Division Street will be closed beginning  Monday, and remain closed until the end of day Friday, October 29.

10-23-21 first widespread frost of season in wi

After unseasonably mild temperatures to start fall, more normal temps settled in this week.   National Weather Service meteorologist Taylor Patterson says after several days in the upper 60s and low 70s,  high temps this week plummeted to the low 50s and upper 40s.  After a Frost Advisory was issued for our area Thursday night into Friday morning Patterson says the first widespread frost is expected Friday night into Saturday morning.
