12-1-21 second person charged with voter fraud in fdl county

A second person has been charged in Fond du Lac County with voter fraud in the 2020  presidential election.  Like the first person charged earlier this year Anthony Van Egtern is a convicted felon who was still on probation when he voted.   The Campbellsport man is scheduled to make his initial court appearance December 7.  According to a criminal complaint Van Egtern voted at the Taycheeda Town Hall.  His probation was scheduled to end […]

11-30-21 prosecutors ad 6th homicide count in wisconsin parade crash

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — Prosecutors have added a sixth homicide count against a Wisconsin man accused of driving his SUV through a Christmas parade in suburban Milwaukee. Investigators allege Darrell Brooks Jr. injured dozens of people and killed six when he turned his vehicle into the parade in Waukesha on Nov. 21. 11-30-21 fdl judge grimm retiring

Longtime Fond du Lac County Circuit judge Peter Grimm will not seek re-election.  Grimm announced Monday he will be retiring when his term expires at the end of July, 2022, after 31 years on the bench.   Before he was elected judge Grimm served as an assistant state public defender and Fond du Lac County District Attorney.  Grimm says it has been an honor to serve the public, litigants,  jurors, and attorneys in his courtroom.  […]
