The Fond du Lac Fire Department continues to investigate a fire that destroyed an SUV in a near downtown neighborhood. Firefighters were called to Brooke Street and Hamilton Place Monday night to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says a preliminary investigation does not point to a mechanical or electrical problem with the vehicle. O’Leary says the investigation will continue to determine if the fire was accidental or intentionally set. Nobody was injured in the fire.
