Speed and alcohol are being blamed for a fatal two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened shortly after 7:30pm Saturday on Highway T at Townline Road. A preliminary investigation shows that two vehicles were westbound on CTH T when one of the cars attempted to pass, lost control, went across the highway and struck a parked vehicle on the south shoulder. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and a passenger received minor injuries. The occupant of the parked vehicle was flown by helicopter to a hospital with serious injuries. One of two onlookers standing near the parked vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
