The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and State Patrol are investigating if two cars were drag racing prior to a fatal crash over the weekend The crash happened Saturday night on Highway T at Townline Road in the town of Lamartine, when a car attempted to pass another car, lost control and struck a parked vehicle on the shoulder of the Highway. The driver of the passing car was pronounced dead at the scene. An occupant in the parked vehicle was seriously injured. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says investigators believe at least some of the individuals at the scene of the crash knew one another. Tadych says the people involved were from Neenah, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac.
