Fond du Lac City offices are closed on December 24th and December 31st in observance of the holidays. The Municipal Service Center will be closed to all services on December 24th and December 31st. Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours. Garbage and recycling normally picked up Friday will be collected Monday. Fond du Lac Area Transit buses and Senior Center programs will not be operating on December 24th and December31st in observance of the holidays. The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on December 24th and December 25th. It will close at 4:00pm on December 31st and be closed all day on January 1st for New Year’s Day. In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, and in accordance with Fond du Lac County’s holiday schedule, the county offices in the City/County Government Center and the Sheriff’s lobby/records office will be closed all day December 24. The county offices in the City/County Government Center will close at noon on December 31. The Sheriff’s lobby/records office will close at 11:00 on December 31. The Department of Community Programs, Department of Social Services and the Veteran Services Office will be closed all day on December 24 and December 31. The Highway Department will be closed all day on December 31.
