Wisconsin has recorded its first death of a child under the age of 10 from COVID-19. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin said the death occured last week. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the news is “devastating.” Mueller says there is still more vaccine hesistancy in the 5-11 age group compared to older children and adults. The statee Department of Health Services says six deaths have been reported among Wisconsinites between the ages of 10 and 19.
