Rosendale-Brandon School District residents are considering a nearly $30 million building referendum in the spring election. The School District is asking voters for permission to issue $29.77 million in general obligation bonds to pay for a school building and facility improvement project. The project includes additions and renovations at Laconia High School to accomodate middle and high school students, renovations t o Brandon Elementary School and the current Rosendale Intermediate School. In addition there would be district-wide safety, security, building infrastructure, capital maintenance and site improvements along with furnishings, fixtures and equipment. The plan would reduce the number of school district buildings from four to three resulting in grades six-12 at Laconia and 4K-5 in Rosendale and Brandon.
