The Fond du Lac School District superintendent says the district is making changes to the administration structure, including the addition of administrative positions in an effort to bolster academic achievement. The Fond du Lac School Board approved the administration reorganization plan at their meeting this week. The positions include a Chief of Schools and Educational Accountability, Coordinators for K-5 Literacy, K-5 Math, and 6-12 English Language Arts and Math along with a supervisor of Facility Services and Safety. Superintendent Dr Jeff Fleig says the Chief of Schools position is about educational accountability and overseeing the day to day operations of schools. The total salary increases for all of the positions is over $200,000. Dr. Fleig says that cost will be offset through staffing adjustments for the 2022-23 school year.
