A new catering business is open in Waupun with a unique twist. Casey Koehler and her mother started Go Dutch Solutions for their catering business, but are also offering commercial kitchen space full of commercial equipment for home cooks. Go Dutch Solutions is located in the former Waupun Christian Home, and in November obtained state certification as a commercial kitchen. Koehler’s mother, Wendy Strook, graduated from Moraine Park Technical College with a degree in culinary arts. She says the catering menu includes hor d’oeuvres, sandwiches, starches, entrees and vegetables. So how did they come up with the name Go Dutch Solutions? Koehler says Go Dutch means to share, and Waupun has a Dutch heritage.
