3-1-22 low flu cases again

This winter’s mild flu season has faded to a trickle of cases in much of the United States including Wisconsin. The latest federal data show a decline in flu infections since the beginning of the year.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller for a second year in a row influenza cases in Wisconsin are much lower than normal.  But second waves of influenza are not unusual in flu seasons and health officials are not ready to call it over just yet.
