Democratic governor Tony Evers says he doesn’t agree with the findings and recommendations in former supreme court justice Michael Gableman’s “interim report” on the 2020 presidential election. “This last election was fair, free of any problems, secure. I discount his (Gableman’s) conclusions,” Evers told WFDL news. Gableman told the assembly elections committee last week that the legislature should take a hard look at decertification of the 2020 presidential election and recommending eliminating the state’s bipartisan elections commission. Evers says he discounts the report and recommendations and says the state’s election system does work.
