Fond du Lac High School has a new principal. The Fond du Lac School District has announced that David Michalkiewicz has been selected as principal starting next school year. He will replace Matt Steinbarth who was appointed the new school district chief of schools and educational accountability. Michalkiewicz has been serving as the Athletic Director and Physical Education Coordinator for the school since 2015. “I am excited to recommend Mr. Michalkiewicz as the next Principal of Fond du Lac High School,” said Dr. Jeffrey Fleig, Superintendent of the Fond du Lac School District. “Mr. Michalkiewicz understands the importance of improving the culture and academic outcomes at Fond du Lac High School, and I am confident he will hold high expectations for our staff and students.” Michalkiewicz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broad Field Social Studies with a minor in Secondary Education from Edgewood College. He earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
